Day 1Airport pick up, transfer to your hotel

Tour of Chisinau will show both the historic and the modern faces of Chisinau city. A nice walk in the central part of the city to make you familiar with the day to day life of the people in this part of the Europe. You’ll see the Presidency, the Parliament and the City Administration on Stephen theGreat Boulevard. Cultural centers such as the National Theatre M.Eminescu, the Organ Hall and Opera and Ballet Theatre. The view of the Arch of Triumph is included.

Excursion to Orhei Vechi situated in a picturesque setting, You’ll have the opportunity to visit the most interesting archaeological site housing the ruins of two cities (14th -16th century). Tartars settled here on their expansion to Western Europe. Continue with a visit to the well-maintained Orthodox cave monastery called St. Maria Dormata which was expanded and modified inside the cliffs by monks over the centuries. Christian churches provide magnificent scenery through the windows of the monastery which still functions today.
Visit to Curchi monastery which is 56 km from Chisinau Curchi monastery is the most beautiful and famous monastery in Moldova. Its beginning starts in the 1773-1775 as a complex of six churches. After renovation that started in 2002 it’s a pearl of Moldavian religion and a symbol of spiritual revival. A strong must see on your Moldova intinerary.

Excursion to Chateau Vartely wine factory. We will make the tasting a celebration for those who will try at least for a moment to enter the mystery of this heavenly drinks. This way each guest will be able to choose the wine that will suit him the best. Because in Moldova one wine is never similar to another. Experts will discover a bouquet of wines witch will resemble the dynamism and sophistication of a Moldovan dance. Day 2 Visit to Capriana Monastery and Milestii Mici Winery

The Capriana Monastery is situated at the margin of a big forest between the villages Straseni and Capriana on the river Isnovat not far from Chisinau. It was founded in the XVth century during the rule of Alexandru cel Bun and reconstructed by Stefan the Great in 1470. The ensemble includes the Churches of Virgin’s Assumption (1545), Saint Nicholas (1840) and Saint George (1907) which abut the abbot’s house, the refectory and cells. The most ancient is the Virgin’s AssumptionChurchfounded by Petru Rares. It has a triconchal layout consisting of narthex, naos and apse. After reconstruction in 1820 by Metropolit G. Banulescu-Bodoni it kept unchanged only the decorative apses with arcature and the walls down to the socle level. In the course of construction a bell-house with a pyramidal roof and an octagonal dome with a bulbous turret over the naos were built.

– Milestii Mici Сellars The Guiness record book with 2 million bottle collection.This underground wine city appeared in galleries excavated in lime mining operations during the 70-es of the last century, at the depth of 40-85 meters, and is one of the largest wine cellars in the world. Day 3Tours in moldova Excursion to Soroca Fortress – Soroca Fortress

Soroca Fortress is located 160 km from Chisinau. It was build between 1543-1546. It’s a huge fortification system placed on the bank of Nistru river to protect against the foreign invasions in the past.

Day 4Tours in moldova Tiraspol, Transnistria

Transnistria Breakfast at hotel. Full day trip to Tiraspol, Transnistria, at the present moment the administrative center of the self proclaimed Transnistria (Moldova). Feel the atmosphere of this disputed territory which always has been a battlefield between the major powers of the region. The buildings of the Soviets, the monument of Suvorov, Central Plaza. Return to Chisinau.

Day 5Tours in moldova B: Odessa

Transfer to Odessa, Ukraine Ukraine. During the city tour you will get acquainted with Odessa, the regional center of Ukraine with a population more than one million people. The city is situated on a height and is washed by the waters of the Black Sea from the south and the west. The longest season of the year in Odessa is summer – it lasts for 145 days. Many pages of the history of Odessa have found their reflection in arts and literature. During our tour you will get to know a lot about the city’s history, its modern face, will see one of the most beautiful buildings in the world – Opera and Ballet house, built by the project of the Viennese architects F. Felner and G. Helmer, will walk along the famous Primorsky Boulevard and Potemkin’ stairs, will visit city museums. Free evening for promenade.

Day 6Tours in moldova B: Odessa Catacombs

Odessa Catacombs – a network of underground tunnels and labyrinths, located near Odessa. According to recent data, the length of Odessa catacombs is more than 2500 km. During World War II Odessa catacombs, as well as Adzhimushkayskie quarries, were the shelter for the Soviet partisans, who fought against the Nazi invaders and caused considerable damage to the German army. Odessa Catacombs were also the shelter for the detachment of V.A. Molodtsov, whose feat was described in the work of Katayev “Waves of the Black Sea”.
